I recently stayed at La Casa de los Taitas for my trip to Salento. It was a great experience! The hostal is conveniently located just a block away from the Parque Principal and is perfect for those looking to relax. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice views, and the bathrooms have hot water and soap. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even let us relax in the living room with a cup of coffee when we arrived early. The shared kitchen is spacious and the big terrace offers a beautiful view. a wonderful stay!
I do recommend this hotel.

Loved the friendly staff and the peaceful atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen was a lifesaver. , the location was convenient, just a short walk from the main plaza. Wi-Fi was reliable in the common areas, which was a plus.
To my stay. The dorm floor was dirty and the trashbin in the bathroom wasn't cleaned daily.

The room we stayed in at Hostal Casa De Los Taitas was cozy and clean, with a lovely view of the surrounding hills. The hot water in the bathroom was a welcome treat, especially after a long day of exploring. The location was perfect, just a few minutes away from the main square, where we had the best breakfast at Cafe Jesus Martin. We also enjoyed the short walk to the coffee plantations, which was conveniently accessible from the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to relax in the living room before our check-in time and offering us a much-needed cup of coffee. our stay was comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as occasional noise from the reception and kitchen, and some street noise, we had a great experience at Hostal Casa De Los Taitas. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a good value and convenient location in town.

We enjoyed the delicious meals and the opportunity to meet other travelers while dining together.
It would have been better if there were more power plugs available in the room.

Amazing Garden Oasis: Nestled amidst the beautiful landscape, the hostel's garden felt like a tranquil sanctuary. With vibrant flowers and lush greenery, it was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring Salento.
Road Noise: A bit noisy due to proximity to the road.

Free WiFi: The internet connection at this hostel was like a superhero, saving me from moments of boredom and keeping me connected with the world. It was fast and reliable, allowing me to easily share my adventures with friends and family back home.
Noise: The only downside to my stay was the occasional disturbance from the outside world. The dogs barking and roosters crowing throughout the night were like a never-ending animal orchestra, and the thin walls made it easy to overhear conversations from neighboring rooms.
